- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Add the oats and milk to the mixture and stir until everything is evenly mixed. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips for a sweet touch.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Let them cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
