1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup caramel sauce

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup whipped topping (or cool whip)

1/4 cup toffee bits (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Bake the cake: Prepare and bake the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.

Poke holes: Once the cake is slightly cooled, use a fork to poke holes all over the cake.

Pour caramel & condensed milk: In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce, then pour it over the warm cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.

Add chocolate chips: Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top of the cake and place it back into the oven for 3-4 minutes until the chips melt.

Spread whipped topping: After the cake has cooled, spread whipped topping evenly on top.

Sprinkle with toffee bits (if using) for an extra layer of crunch and flavor.
