Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough, white, or whole wheat)

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 4 slices cooked bacon (or 2 sausage patties)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon butter (for eggs)


Instructions

  • Scramble the Eggs:

    • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

    • Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.

    • Pour in eggs and cook, stirring, until soft and fluffy. Set aside.

  • Assemble the Sandwich:

    • Butter one side of each bread slice.

    • Place a slice of cheese on the unbuttered side, followed by scrambled eggs, bacon, and another slice of cheese.

    • Top with another bread slice, buttered side facing out.

  • Grill the Sandwich:

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat.

    • Cook each sandwich for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy, with cheese melted inside.
