These Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls bring together soft, fluffy dough, spiced apple filling, and a rich caramel glaze — the perfect cozy treat for fall mornings or holiday brunches!
Ingredients
For the dough:

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast

½ tsp salt

½ cup milk

¼ cup water

3 tbsp unsalted butter

1 egg
For the filling:

2 medium apples (peeled and diced)

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp butter
For the caramel glaze:

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup heavy cream
-
2 tbsp butter

Pinch of salt
Instructions

Prepare the dough: Warm the milk, water, and butter until melted and warm (not hot). Combine with flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and egg. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.

Make the filling: Cook apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter in a skillet until softened. Cool slightly.

Assemble rolls: Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the apple mixture evenly, roll up, and slice into 9–12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.

Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.

Make caramel glaze: Simmer brown sugar, cream, butter, and salt until thickened (about 5 minutes). Pour over warm rolls before serving.
