Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large onions, cut into thick rings
- 8 mozzarella cheese sticks (cut to fit inside onion rings)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut onions into thick rings and separate them. Place a mozzarella stick inside two concentric onion rings, pressing them together.

- Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust.

- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with marinara or ranch dip.
Notes

- Use smoked paprika for extra flavor.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes as a healthier option.
