Ingredients
- 8 slices white or brioche bread, crusts removed
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp butter (for frying)
- Powdered sugar or icing for topping (optional)
Instructions
1️⃣ Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin.
2️⃣ Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread evenly on each slice.
3️⃣ Roll up each slice tightly and set aside.
4️⃣ Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in a shallow dish. Dip each roll-up in the mixture, coating all sides.
5️⃣ Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Fry roll-ups for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
6️⃣ Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing. Serve warm with syrup for dipping!
