For the Cruffins:

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.

Prepare the Cinnamon-Sugar Coating: In a small bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon. Set aside.

Prepare the Cruffin Dough: Roll out the crescent dough or puff pastry on a clean surface. Brush with melted butter, then spread a thin layer of Nutella on top of the dough.

Roll and Slice the Dough: Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar evenly over the Nutella layer. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the dough into a log, then slice it into 6-8 pieces.

Shape the Cruffins: Place each dough piece into the muffin tin, standing upright like a muffin. Gently press down on the dough to make it fit.
