Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water, and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Beef:

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks.
  • Season with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if using).

3️⃣ Sauté the Garlic and Onion:

  • Add onion to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
