Succulent Shrimp in a Rich Garlic Butter Sauce
This garlic butter shrimp skillet is the perfect combination of juicy shrimp and a savory garlic butter sauce, made in just one pan. It’s a quick, easy, and indulgent dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights or weekend dinners.
Ingredients

1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tbsp butter, divided

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions

Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce.

Stir in lemon juice and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese or add a splash of white wine while cooking the garlic.
