Description
These warm, flaky ham and cheese croissants are the perfect balance of buttery pastry, savory ham, and melty cheese. Quick to prepare and incredibly delicious, they make an ideal breakfast or brunch treat!
Ingredients
- 4 croissants, sliced in half
- 4 slices ham (or more, to taste)
- 4 slices Swiss, cheddar, or Gruyère cheese
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
- ½ tsp honey (optional, for a hint of sweetness)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant (if using).
3️⃣ Layer a slice of ham and cheese inside each croissant, then close them.
4️⃣ Mix melted butter with honey and brush it lightly over the tops of the croissants.
5️⃣ Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
6️⃣ Serve warm and enjoy!

✔️ Add a fried or scrambled egg for an extra hearty breakfast.
