A Cajun-style loaded fries recipe packed with heat, creamy goodness, and savory toppings that’ll keep you coming back for more!

These loaded fries are the perfect comfort food—crispy fries tossed in Cajun seasoning, topped with cheese, smoky sausage, and a drizzle of spicy ranch. Great for parties, game day, or a late-night treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag frozen French fries (or 4 cups homemade fries)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked smoked sausage or andouille, sliced and browned

  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • 2 tbsp spicy ranch dressing or remoulade sauce

  • 1 green onion, chopped

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook French fries according to package instructions (or bake homemade fries until crispy).

  • While fries are baking, sauté the sausage slices until browned and cooked through. Set aside.

  • Once fries are done, sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly over them and toss to coat.

  • Spread fries on a serving platter or sheet pan. Top with both cheeses, then sausage, and jalapeños.

  • Return to oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Drizzle spicy ranch dressing or remoulade sauce over the top.

  • Garnish with chopped green onions and parsley. Serve hot!

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by using milder sausage or reducing the amount of Cajun seasoning.

  • Add bacon bits, diced tomatoes, or even shrimp for a twist!

  • Great for sharing, but don’t be surprised if they disappear fast.
