  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Chipotle Queso:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 12 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven and bake fries according to package instructions, or fry until golden and crispy.

  • While fries are baking, make the chipotle queso: In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until warm. Add cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

  • Stir in minced chipotle peppers, garlic powder, and lime juice. Season with salt to taste.

  • Once fries are ready, remove from the oven and drizzle with the chipotle queso.

  • Serve immediately with additional lime wedges and optional toppings like cilantro or jalapeños.

  • Add a dollop of sour cream for extra creaminess.
