Ingredients

1 lb frozen fries (or homemade fries)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

For the Chipotle Queso:

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup heavy cream

1–2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp lime juice

Salt to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven and bake fries according to package instructions, or fry until golden and crispy.

While fries are baking, make the chipotle queso: In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until warm. Add cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

Stir in minced chipotle peppers, garlic powder, and lime juice. Season with salt to taste.

Once fries are ready, remove from the oven and drizzle with the chipotle queso.

Serve immediately with additional lime wedges and optional toppings like cilantro or jalapeños.
