For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise (to make 4 cutlets)

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for pan-frying)

For the Garlic Cream Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Dip chicken cutlets in beaten egg, then coat with the crumb mixture.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry chicken for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan, season with salt and pepper, and let thicken for 3–4 minutes.

  4. Return chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2 more minutes.

  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed veggies.

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

  • Can be made gluten-free with GF breadcrumbs.
