- 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 3 minutes). Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Pour in white wine, scraping up bits from the pan. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
- Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, then mix in shrimp. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs (if using). Bake for 15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
