This Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake combines the garlicky, buttery goodness of classic shrimp scampi with a cheesy, oven-baked pasta twist. It’s creamy, comforting, and bursting with flavor—perfect for a cozy dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta al dente; drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 3 minutes). Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Pour in white wine, scraping up bits from the pan. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
  • Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, then mix in shrimp. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs (if using). Bake for 15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked shrimp for a quicker meal.
  • Swap heavy cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
