These Slow Cooker Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes are rich, creamy, and packed with cheesy goodness. Made with tender potatoes, a velvety sauce, and layers of gooey cheese, this dish is perfect as a side for any meal or holiday feast!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Grease the slow cooker and layer half the potatoes inside.
2️⃣ Mix heavy cream, milk, butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
3️⃣ Pour half the mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half the cheese.
4️⃣ Repeat with remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
5️⃣ Cover & cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender.
6️⃣ Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

✔ Want extra flavor? Add crispy bacon or caramelized onions between layers.
✔ For a golden top, broil the finished dish in an oven-safe dish for 5 minutes.
