  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the sauce:
    • In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, and minced garlic.
  • Cook the salmon:
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
    • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
    • During the last minute of cooking, brush the salmon with the Sriracha honey sauce, allowing it to caramelize.
